Terms and Conditions of The Bridal Lounge

These terms and conditions were last updated in May 2020.

These terms and conditions apply to any purchase you make from The Bridal Lounge. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not make a purchase from The Bridal Lounge.

The Bridal Lounge has its address at 22 Warrington Road, Cuddington, Cheshire CW8 2LJ. Any reference to “us” or “we” is to The Bridal Lounge.

Your Item

When you place an order for an item from us, you understand that you are purchasing a bespoke item, that is unique to your specification.

We will try to give you an estimate of the timing for delivery when you place the order, but we cannot guarantee this, as this is dependent on our third party supplier. We will use all reasonable endeavours to comply with the time we have confirmed to when at the time of placing the order.

We have made every effort to ensure that our products conform to illustrations, photographs and descriptions provided in our sales and marketing literature.

We reserve the right to make any changes in the specification of the products that may be required to conform to any applicable safety or other legal or regulatory requirements without notice.

We will only deliver products within the United Kingdom.

Fees

When you place an order, you will be required to pay 100% of the price of the item at the time of ordering. This fee is required in order to commission our supplier to prepare the dress that you have ordered.

All prices include VAT.

Prices are exclusive of delivery and packaging charges, which are charged separately.

Returns

Wedding gowns, veils and shoes are all bespoke items, made to order, they are non-refundable unless one of the following events occurs:

  • The item is not of satisfactory quality
  • The item is not fit for purpose
  • The item is not as described at the time of purchase

Beginning on the day you receive the item, you have a 30 calendar day right to reject the item and to receive a full refund if they do not conform as stated above.

If you do not wish to reject the item, or if the 30 calendar day period has expired, you may request that the item is repaired or replaced.

Within the first 6 months after you have received your item, you are entitled to a repair or replacement unless we can provide that the defect was not present at the time you bought the item.

To be eligible for a return under these circumstances, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with labels still attached. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable) 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping 

To return your item, you should mail your product to: The Bridal Lounge, 22 Warrington Rd, Cuddington, Northwich CW8 2LJ.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
 

If you are shipping an item over £35, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Cancellations

Once an order for a bespoke item is received, you have a 24-hour cooling off period. Should you wish to cancel please email info@thebridallounge.co.uk explaining that you wish to cancel your purchase, and we will refund your money by the same means you paid with originally.

After this period, there are no circumstances under which cancellations are permitted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@thebridallounge.co.uk and send your item to: The Bridal Lounge, 22 Warrington Rd, Cuddington, Northwich, CW8 2LJ, United Kingdom.

Gifts 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 

General

We comply with all applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 in providing the product to you.

No party other than you or us have any rights under these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions, and any non-contractual obligations arising hereunder, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute arising hereunder.
